MN3005 production dates?

Hey guys,

Just being a curious ba$#ter% here, but does anyone know for how long MN3005's where produced? Or when production ceased at least? I've been googling like mad, but can't find any info on this subject. Just being curious, and looking for an indication why they are so rare....

Best guess? Around 78' - 90' maybe only up until the mid/late 80s though.

I think the earliest schematic I have or have seen that used one was dated either 77 or 78 (I think 77 was just the SAD1024, BBDs being a fairly new invention).

You might want to look in to the 80s EHX MN3005 buy out fiasco, might give some clues for the end of the line dates.
