Lightning Strikes...for real

non pedal related but I thought this was pretty cool nonetheless. At a park next to my house a lightning bolt completely destroyed this tree. I was at home and happened to be out in the garage and seen the large bolt (I did not see it hit the tree but knew it was very close)

Anyway, we are insignificant and powerless compared to our mother

That wasn't lightning. It was a very large beaver carrying a strobe light.  8)

You can tell by the lack of burn marks on the branches.

Actually close up on the higher branches there was a little charring but not as much as I expected.
