I've got a 535Q.  You might want to debug the problem before parting it out, it's a good wah.  You could sell it and buy a couple "parts" wahs on craigslist then.

most of the caps/resistors are tiny smt parts, so Im hoping it isnt anything to do with those. 

I will have a go at debugging it, try it out at a few gigs and see if I like it before I gut it
