I have bult a bunch of verbs with the new BTDR-2 Digilog reverb bricks and I have had a few that were strange/started malfunctioning.  One developed a pronounced slapback echo to accompany the verb, another was really bright/cut out alot of lows, and the latest one goes into horrible white noise mode after about a minute of playing.  Anyone else have problems with the small bricks?  Soundcloud of the latest:

With PT2399's it is easy to buy a bunch and weed through the bad ones, but at $20 a pop with these it hurts to get 3 with issues out of 12 purchased.  Anyone else?

I've used 4 of them so far.  Haven't had a problem yet.

I have run into weird excessive modulation problems, slapbacky echoes and even the one above going nutso after a short while.  The one thing all of these Rub-a-Dubs had in common were 1uf tants instead of electrolytics, all of the ones I have built with electros have been perfect.

Hmm. Both of mine (short and med decay) have a pronounced slapback at higher verb settings say above 40%. I assumed this was normal for being a digital verb?

Same here.. I have built 2 of them and get the same results. I thought it was inherent of the chip. I have even tried to buy from 2 different vendors. Now that Mammoth carries them I tried theirs on my last build and still got a slapback on 100% wet.

Anyone ever have white noise issues?  I just built a moodring and it has a bit excessive white noise coming through.  the pedal sounds amazing, but it is just much noisier than any belton circuit i've ever built (and I've built a ghost echo clone on vero)

i've isolated it to the brick, but just unsure because the pedal sounds fantastic otherwise
