In the Electric Mistress it says to use a 1MC for the tone pot. Probably a silly question but what is it?

The C stands for Reverse Log Taper, so you need a 1M Reverse Log Taper

if that is hard to find, you can use a 1MA pot (audio taper) with the lugs wired in reverse. this will make the control behave backwards to what was intended but it will do the job.

Definitely get the 1MC
worth doing it right
1MA will be backwards , eugh, and a 1MB (linear) makes it way hard to dial in nice faster rates.

Another question about this build.For IC4 it says to use CD4013BCN which i can't seem to find in the UK but i can get CD4013.Will it matter if i use that instead.

Nope, fine, as long as it's a 14-Pin DIP CD4013 doesn't matter.

Will a 1m resistor be ok instead of 1.2m for this build ?
