I refuse to believe you've only been doing this for a year. Your work is too good!

Nice blog, sir. I ran a blog for about a year following all my builds, which at the time were mostly about ripping off zvex cosmic always wanted those pedals but they were too expensive for limited use.

You or anyone else can read at http://hownotomakeapedal.blogspot.com

I don't update much these days...

Congrats Jon.

Pretty impressive for one year

Great for one year, i've been at this about 18 months, but not seriously until about 6 months ago, you certainly have made some serious headway in a short amount of time. On your blog you talked about being horrified when you opened it up. I opened up the first pedal i ever built recently, it was a fatpants v2, and i still use it every day, and at every gig! But the insides are horrendous! Looks like it's been soldered by a drunk chimp!

I wonder how many of us are like this: We set out to build something we really, really wanted, and then said, "Well, what else can I do?" Surprisingly few pedals since the TTT have ever earned a place on my board, mostly just different flavors of compressor.

Excellent read, and since I haven't drilled the enclosure for my TTT yet and have enough lead on the pots, I think I might follow your lead and flip the board.

yeah, note you can do top jacks in that orientation, too, if you're smarter than Jon P version 3.7.2012.

All I have to be is smarter than Curtis Last Week, who successfully managed to completely run a 1590DD (yeah, like there wasn't enough space in there) and a 125B.  What a brutal week on the drill press it was.

That is exactly how it went! Yeah, not too many of my builds end up on my board, i very rarely get time to do much for myself!

Congrats Jon! This community wouldn't be the same without ya  ;D

On a personal note... I still haven't finished the first pedal I ever started. I built it incorrectly (oriented the polarity protection diode wrong), didn't figure that out until months later, and it's still waiting to be boxed.

This! And congrats on a very good, productive year! I'm on this for like 15 months or so, but didn't feel I had to celebrate my 'progress' so far....  ;) I'm having a beer on you as I type this Jon, you really impress me with both your work and your drive to help the rest of us out when needed. Cheers!!
