Hamlet delay prototype PCB: free to a good home with the right answer

This PCB is unpopulated.

Before answering, you need to know that this prototype board DOES NOT have the LED protection mod, which I found after getting the first prototype done. But it's easy enough to add (I did it on the one I verified), and I can tell you how to do it so that it looks nice and clean (or if you prefer, it's even easier to mount it externally as an overload indicator).

Your question is: Why did Claudius, and not Prince Hamlet, ascend to the throne after the death of the king?

Bonus question: What was the dead king's name?

I assume it was because he married Hamlet's mother.

That was also how he got the Elsinore brewery.

Claudius was the brother to the king, making him next in line.
The king was hamlet.

King Hamlet (the guy who was killed) had a brother and a son.
His brother was Prince Claudius.
His son was Prince Hamlet.

Since Claude was the brother he was next in line, not just heir like Hamlet Jr was.
We all laughed in 7th grade when we read that Hamlet's uncle was also his dad.  it was very Louisiana like.
