I had drilled too close to the top so I had to rotate the PCB to make it fit, duh.

is it powder coat or spray?

I use both primer and colors by http://www.hammerite.de/ (I'm in Germany), and just paint them on thickly with a brush. Therefore there's some color on the inside of the pedals, because I hold them with the other hand ....
