2012 aquaboy question

hi!
i'm new here and i just finished aquaboy delay, and i'm expiriencing some strange noise in the repeats.
it sounds like this

i used v3205, v571d, v3102d and tl072 (i tried a lf353 and tl072 actually sounds a little bit cleaner)
carbon film resistors, box film caps (nf), ceramic (pf).
the effect is boxed in a metal box (1590bb)
the clip was recorded like this guitar->aboy->soundcard (guitar rig)
delay and mix are at max, feedback around noon
can anyone tell me if this is normal, or i can do something to make it better

mine has no delay at all..
