New guy here with a quick question...I built the Bloviator, and when the effect is engaged there is little to no output.  All the wiring is good and there are no visible solder bridges on either side of the board.  However, when I took the audio probe to the board I get output at every single point except pin 8 on IC3 (TL071).  Since I am getting an output signal from the ground, am I correct in assuming that I have a short, possibly under one of the IC sockets that I'm just unable to see?  Thanks in advance!

That may be possible, it happened to me in an other built, had a small component lead that was bridging 2 pins of an IC.....

Also, have you tried to simply swap IC?

If you don't have other TL071, TL081 will do the trick :)

The IC's are the only thing left that I can think of being the problem.  Ordering some new ones and will report back when they have arrived.  If that doesn't do it, then I'll just start over with a new board.  This is my first non working pedal out of the 8 that I've built...  :(

EDIT: I went back and checked the sockets too to see if there were any solder bridges and there were none...
