Did this demo for a friend who wanted to know what they sound like... might be of interest for y'all

http://www.mediafire.com/?p7s0rp910qd0xaf

Done on 2 guitars, straight into amp, touch of verb added but nothing else.
1st Strat on S/C neck pickup, and 2nd is a Custom on Bridge PAF

NO pickup changes or switching/changing volume/tone on guitars... ALL the tweaks are done with the pedal... start off with clean tone then into the pedal, playing the same kinda stuff so you can hear the differences.
Tranny = 2n3565 baby 8)

Nice demo! Sounds really nice on the PAF especially. Just very big sounding. Though I think the pedal reacts better on the single coils. All stock diodes, or anything unusual?

Sounds very nice, warm and pleasing tone. Great noodling as well  :)

The secret sauce recipe? ;)
2N3565 had an hfe of 230 or so... I bought a bunch of 5 and they ranged from 190 to 300, and all sounded very different in the circuit.  Bat 41's, 1n914s and.... a diffused red LED 8)
