Piranha leds

Anyone tried one of these?

It's shape can be usefull for led/ldr combo or lighting up a lid lightplate, there's some a good area to glue on it.
The monocolor ones have 2 pins for anode and 2 pins for cathode...

the shack has some like that as well. I never considered using them but they would seem to make good homemade vactrols
