This is my first build. I know it's bit sloppy but it works.

Got the wrong resisters from mammoth when I ordered for R3 so I had to make a quick radio shack run. Also had to rebox and replace the input jack to solve some grounding issues I was having. Let me know what you think.

Special thanks to my friend sprayfe for help and all my the stupid questions

Nice job! What a beautiful feeling when you get your first box working! Did you caught the bug?

DutchMF

I agree with night-b, very nice! Nothing beats the feeling of a working first build, congrats! Welcome to the forum, if you're up for more complicated stuff, this the place to get some pedal-geniuses to help you (not counting myself, I only have a couple builds finished as we speak)!

Welcome and enjoy the "disease." lol

Woohoo!  Great booster, enjoy!

This is a really excellent first build - and on an etch, not a PCB. Good job!

Nice job, welcome to the club.

I'm pretty sure I see a PCB under there, but its still a nice build, it rocks!!

Good job on your first build!

Welcome to a hobby that will spin completely out of control. This time next year you will have built like 20 pedals  ;D

lincolnic

Looks better than my first build! Nice work.

bakelo

Thanks for all the support. Also I am wondering what would be a great second build to follow up this pedal. I picked up a pcb for a mangler but I don't know if I want to deal with the positive grounding thing yet.

Something else with 2 knobs!  ;D
I'll help you step up to an overdrive and then you can start on mod/delays;)

nzCdog

Lavache!  My all time favourite overdrive, and a pretty easy build ;D

Seconded! Socket the diodes and it'll give you fun for ages. Want a new sound? Open it back up and swap some diodes around. Make one backwards. Experiment with different transistors. The circuit is practically bulletproof and the controls are dead simple.
