Bacon Bits - AKA my new favorite boost

I had a mate ask me what I could build him in the way of a clean boost the other day -

Had a look, and I still hadn't built the bacon bits I had ordered I while back, so I put it together over a couple of hours last night. The only Sun I made was 100pf silver mica for the 82pf, it's just what I had on hand.

the verdict: it's a nicely dynamic, clean boost, with just a hint of sparkle. It will be knocking the microamp of my board when I get around to building another for myself.

FYI, my buddy (bass player) is using it to smash the front end of his ampeg SVT - no loss of lowend.
