Brighten up the Cave Dweller?

Just curious if there might be a way to brighten up the CD a bit? When it is on, the overall tone of my rig is kinda dark and muddy. I know this is a minimally filtered delay and all so is this normal?

Everything functions good it just darkens up the tone quite a bit when on. there also may be a bit of a volume drop as well but it could just be the lack of treble when engaged. Thoughts?

Try reducing the value of C3 if you feel it is too dark. A socket might be good temporarily while you experiment. Start at 2n2 and work your way down until you find the right balance.
