layout / etching design software?

Hi there,
looking for something simple that will allow me to make the classic black and white transfer layouts with pads, junctions, wire traces etc.  Kind of a copy and paste arts and crafts thing to make a schematic into a etchable board.  The same type of thing our wonderful Madbean has on the project files.
Sorry for the poor wording, I'm sure someone knows what I mean with my bastardization of the Queen's English.
