I do isolation routing on boards. I used to use a combination of Eagle and flatcam. I have since started to use Kicad. My question is in the cam processor of Eagle there is a setting to mirror the board (there is one for the drill files) to get the traces cut right. I see to such setting in Kicad. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough.
Thanks

Hey! I get what you're asking. When you're doing isolation routing, that mirror setting in Eagle is super helpful for flipping the board for the trace cuts, especially when dealing with drill files. In KiCad, there isn't a direct "mirror" setting like in Eagle, but there is a workaround.

What you can do in KiCad is to use the "Reverse" option for the copper layers when exporting your Gerber files. This flips the layers so that when you do the isolation routing, the traces will be in the right orientation for cutting. It's not as intuitive as Eagle's "mirror" button, but it gets the job done.

Hope that helps! Let me know if you need more details or run into any other issues.

In KiCad, mirroring the board for isolation routing isn't as straightforward as in Eagle, but you can achieve it. You'll need to manually flip the layers in the PCB editor, or you could use the 'Gerber' export options and adjust the layer polarities if needed.
