OK I finally got mine running . Not the high gain monster I hear on you tube mine is quiet as hell. It has crunch just not a lot of sustain or crunchy meat like a vh4 pedal
  After I understood a presumption from me to be wrong is now righted. Sw1 is for the expression pedal not a SPST toggle switch. Duh. BUmmed tho cause I had such high hopes for this one. Thought it would king the king of its throne MY VIN DIEZEL VHFORE has not been beat for about 5 years now I'm sure I could buy something that would but theres no fun in that.
  So Mr Mad Bean any progress on your Orifice?

Mentioned this in the PPCB thread but have you double checked the pinouts of the Germs? 2N1306 are EBC, tab on emitter I believe.
