EHX Pulsar lfo ticking

I'm building a vintage EHX Pulsar...it sounds great but there's a loud tucking coming from the lfo...does the original EHX Pulsar has also loud ticking?...it there anything i can do to remove or at lessen that ticking?...tia

That circuit is famous for lfo tick.  Have you tried running a buffered pedal in front of it?  Sometimes that will help.
