Madbean Kraken - treble making my ears bleed

I got my Kraken working (https://www.madbeanpedals.com/projects/_folders/FilterMod/pdf/Kraken2020.pdf). The "LO" side is a little underwhelming but pretty standard for the bass side of an envelope filter. The "HI" side, however, feels like it's trying to kebab my brain with eardrums at both ends. It's painful and unpleasant, just one big treble spike.

Any suggestions on replacing some of the values in that circuit in order to tame the treble when switched to "HI" mode?

I would start a troubleshooting thread to find what is causing the issue rather than attempt to modify the error away.

I'm having a similar experience with my build - lot's of gain on the treble. Did you find any good solutions?
