In case I can't find some 9203 photocells for the glasshole, is there a suitable sub for them in the phaser? If yes, what is it.
Thanks,
Chris

The specs for the 9203 are:
Light: 5-20k
Dark: 20M
@ around a 620nm wavelength

So, anything close to that should be fine.

The Tayda ones are KE10720
Close to the same light resistance
500k dark resistance
650nm

Overall close except the dark resistance. I think it probably would be noticeable in the overall phaser depth, though. Anyway, a closer sub would be the 9200 which smallbear does appear to have in stock.

I've used the tayda LDRs in a few mutron ii builds, and they've worked fine. Pairing with a yellow diffused LED seems to work best.

The tagboardeffects and PedalPCB build docs both recommend the Tayda LDRs.

This is really close:

The hi-dark photocells will be fine, too, but overkill and more expensive.

Worth noting if you're looking for more subs is that the thing that matters more than the dark resistance number is its ratio to the light resistance. You can usually tweak a design to change the amount of current you're running through something but the ratio will define the total available dynamic range of the cell.
