Next on the to do list are four Deadendfx builds, of which I am missing the 3080th ics for the atomic duck.

After a string of weird pedal build errors, I am losing my mind and doubting myself hard And cannot for the life of me find this chip. Is it just the ca3080 that gets used in compressor pedals? I feel like I am over thinking this and going bonkers.

Yeah, it's the CA3080, made by a different manufacturer.

If you can't get either the LM3080 or CA3080, then perf up a LM13700 daughterboard, with each side of the LM13700 going to each of the 3080 sockets.

Thanks Alan! The daughterboard is a great idea, thank you for your help.

Octapart show Rochester Electronics with 1000's of CA3080's in stock at various price points,  i know nothing about the vendor but they often show parts very few others have.
