PCB Layout Check

I believe you have something going on with the IC being flipped.

For example in the schematic the 9v connects to pin six. on your layout it is connected to pin 3

The IC on the layout looks 'mirrored' - like the view is from the bottom rather the top of the IC. I think the connections look right based on the location of Pin 1.

JoeR, you are correct. The view shown is looking at the solder side.

I think the 220uF output cap is pretty big. usually we talk about nF for guitar and maybe 1 uF for bass or so, if I'm not mistaken.

did you build it and there's a problem or did you want to make sure before commiting?
I build pedals to hide my lousy playing.

I have bread boarded it, and it sounds fine to me. I just didn't want to waste an etched PCB that was laid out wrong.
