Signal drop out with El Guapo...

Just finished El Guapo. Couple things - I'm not sure exactly how to set the bias with the trimmer. Do I simply ground the voltmeter? If I do that I can't get the voltage below 1.95 (at the TP).
The other weird thing is the signal just seems to fade out or stop while playing, and also drops off instantly when I stop playing (and/or damp the strings). This is my first fuzz build, mostly I do OD units... So not sure what to expect...

ok, got it. PCB was shorting out while jamming it in the enclosure. Now painting!
