D9E Diodes

I bought about 50 D9D and a bunch of 1N34A's awhile ago off Ebay. Still working my way through 'em.

Too much fakes on eBay for my taste. I'd rather order stuff from a reliable vendor that actually works.

p.s. I know something about this first hand. I once told people on this forum I liked how a diode sounded in a klone and the next thing I knew they were bought out from ebay and cost like $5 each, and those weren't even remotely close to a 1N34A (they were much higher fv).

I still have 10 of these as well as your testing notes! Have been afraid to use them, ha!

I bought about 100 D9E diodes awhile back.  They were super cheap back then.

There are other D9X diodes that will no doubt sound just as good and are not affected by the hyped price tag.  D9B, 200pcs $25 shipped for example.

D9K, D9V are 2 others i know of as well.
