A pig of a build (ironically a pork barrel). Took ages to find the bad joint I'd made in it initially. Once that was sorted I boxed it up and got a load of clock noise. Entirely all my own fault. I didn't look which connections were where on the PCB when I did the decal, making them all cross over each other. To cure it I ended up wrapping them in metal tape then grounding the tape. Perfect, but far from pretty.

I've got another one of these to make for Cleggy. It's on the newer board (no mix pot) and the pots will be board mounted. I'm not taking any chances ;)

Thought I really should have a Tube Screamer, so built a Green Bean

Very cool Juan. No one should be without a tube screamer  8)

Who did you say again is selling those foot switch pads? I'd like to get some.

Awesome builds!  Love the Frog Chorus... and I'm a huge Foo Fighters fan as well :)
Bit of foil in there?  Did you get some ticking in the porkbarrel?

sprayfe

I'd love to know what model switches you use with those boards, and as always- killer builds dude.

Big time, my own fault due to me not paying attention when I did the decal and ended up with the pot wiring all going everywhere. Wrapped the offending wires in foil tape and grounded them. Ticking eliminated. Though not the prettiest solution...

They're the latching ones from here. Much prefer them to the 3PDTs. But only use them on builds for me and Mr Clegg. Can't use them on the valve pedals as some of them need the input grounded on them when they're un-stomped to stop them going mental.

At the rate we're going through them, I might have to grab some more at some point!

Excellent job on both of those! Even w/ the foil it still looks very clean inside! Your finishes look damn near perfect now!
Good job on the troubleshoot! I'm loving the frog decal!!  :D
