Split rail build question

Would it be possible to substitute a 7660 for the 7662? I think I've still got a couple 7660s from an old project but I can't find a 7662 locally and it takes forever to get orders to me now that I've moved overseas.

Yes, as long as the 7660 has a SPCA suffix it should work fine as long as your project isn't a current hog.
What I've noticed with VFE projects is that the designer tends to use the best of the best for parts selection, which means, unfortunately that the parts tend to be pricy. A 7660SPCA will work also

Cool, thanks! That's what I suspected, just thought I'd make sure before I blew up anything. Just made a big Tayda order and this seems to be the thing i forgot (there's always something)
