Consequence of our normal language use. We tend to say "May twenty seventh" when referring to a date in common speech, rather than "the twenty seventh of May". So, our date format goes month/day/year rather than day/month/year

That always confuses me a bit. Rather than small-medium-big, DDMMYY, or big-medium-small YYMMDD, you guys go medium-small-big MMDDYY.

Aren't you supposed to put the tube in the fridge/freezer to preserve it over long periods of time??
