Hi guys.
My pedalboard dirt-side consists in:
Rangemaster-Superfuzz-BigMuff-FuzzFace-ToneBender3-HBOD-Dyna red distortion.
this is a wonderful chain, and i'm very happy.
I'm looking for something like a 60s-style OD sound.
Any suggestion?

Could you be more specific?  "60s style overdrive" is not at all specific.

I know, i'm sorry.
I mean something like a Beatles sound, or that trebly-sound of that era.
I'm not really sure, i'm confused.

If your guitar is a Rickenbacker into a Vox amp then you are set. 😀

If not, what are you using?

Ok... you are gonna need to push those mids. Maybe try something like a VFE Standout

For that 60s sound, in terms of non-fuzzy distortion, you'd pretty much be looking at amp overdrive.

To get there, you could look at clean boosts run into a treble happy pre-amp. Maybe something like the SHO which is a bit bright to begin with and has plenty of boost on tap.

There are a few "distortion" pedals from the late 60s like the Colorsound Powerboost, but its a bit on the gnarly side for British Invasion style stuff.

It's a boost, not an OD, but *the* pedal that springs to mind is the Dallas Rangemaster.

Probably with Bean's T/M switch mod added.

I've never played or built one, but Bugg has a PCB for Lumpy's Lemon Drop.

+1 to alanp's suggestion.  Rangemaster is the pedal that comes to mind.  If you make one with selectable input caps you can control the nature of the boost and it works well with an edge of breakup amp.  Maybe while rolling back the guitar volume some.

Another kind of off the wall suggstion is to try boost an amp with an older VCA compressor like an orange squeezer.  I've had considerable luck getting nice compressed rhythm OD tones that way, especially combined with another pedal.  Like a rangemaster.

Except he's already running a RM...

Have you considered the Jext Telez White? It seems to fit the bill

Try the Britannia. It's meant to sound like a Vox and it's got plenty of treble.

If you're thinking about a specific later studio recording, you can probably find out what gear they actually used.
