I have a few around also, the adventures of ordering from Mouser. You miss read one number in the datasheet and next thing you know you are ankles deep in huge parts.

I looked back through my email, and I bought the diodes from ebay. I think I saw the brand (Motorola) and just assumed they'd be good quality, with no idea how big they were! Still, making good on these mistakes is part of what makes this hobby interesting!

I have also Mouser'd without due respect to all the specs, and have a small drawer full of humongous electros as a result.

Nice build, love the silkscreening. I've done screening but not on a pedal yet so I get how tricky that must've been.

Very nice! I think you photoshopped that diode in there just to mess with our heads.
