Hi everyone,
my hi-fi amp stop working correctly and I'm thinking about building one myself.
I need something very simple: one stereo input, one stereo output for speakers, and volume.
It's just for going from my computer to my speakers (8 ohm, 75W)...
Does anyone have done that here? Any advice or projects?
Thanks!
Etienne

For my money, in this application, it is going to be hard to beat a PAM8610. 12v dc, 15W/channel
Check e-bay or Ali-express and you will find pre-assembled boards for less than $1.50 US, or complete with pot etc for less than $5.
If you want to use 5v from your pc, check the PAM8403, 3W/channel, but this probably won't power those speakers as well as the 8610.

i would go with a IC based amp like the one posted above for build simplicity. the TDA729 chip is also popular for diy. i think there are a few different chips in the TDA series, that one seems to be the most popular.

i have never built one myself but you can buy kits for these types of project from china quite cheaply on ebay or what have you.

Thanks guys!
I think I'm going to try one of those super small PAM8610 boards.
