I should still be a "diode destroyer"!

I think Brian has commented on that thing before, I believe saying it kicks up lots of dust. I don't recall the functional comments. I use a metal shear, no dust, straight lines, fast, and accurate.

Tin snips work too, thats what I used before I got the shear. For me they were a challenge to use sometimes especially on a larger board.

I use a hack saw. and a table sander to fine tune 'em

I use shears on the thinner stock I use for face plates. they work great.
I got blisters on my fingers!!!

I use a hacksaw but it takes a good little while and some elbow grease. Those metal shears look really handy..

Score with a utility knife, place in vise right next to the score.  Push and....*snap!*.  I finish it off with a belt sander (outside of course).  KISS.
