I was listening to "Andromeda" when my brother, down the hall, called out to ask if there was something wrong with my computer. He's not so keen on minimal dub.

His description of the hardware on his guitar reminds me of the 'Grandfather's Axe' trope. "Well, I put four new handles on it over the years, and mebbe three new blades, but I bought this axe mebbe sixty, seventy years ago, and it's still goin' great!"

I'm a big fan of stoner rock and have tried to get on with Electric Wizard, and I just can't. For some reason it just pushes it's thing that little bit too far.

The new Prodigy sounds interesting. Word has it, the best album since Fat of the Land.

When I first listened to it, I thought it was a bass guitar, a rhythm guitar, and a lead guitar. Then I realised it was one dude, more or less. Mind blown.
