A circuit layout program for point to point wiring?

Is there a such thing as an app like Eagle or Kicad that instead of making a PCB view it allows you to design a point to point circuit?

DIYLC requires Java.  I'll keep looking.

Well, DIYLC looks to be the answer if you can run Java. Maybe I'll install a virtual machine and give it a go.

I don't trust Java when considering security.

Any CAD program could be used. Inkscape or the like could be put into service.

Sometimes you have to do the heavy lifting yourself.

Do you have a picture or example of point to point wiring, what exactly you're trying to do?

I associate PTP with tube amps and big components. PTP with pedal size components, dead bug building.

The tube amps i've done PTP i drew up with pencil, paper and lots of eraser. Haven't done small scale stuff that way.

It's all art.
