Walrus / VFE metallic gold knobs... Where to source them?

Hi guys,

The other day I was looking at the limited edition of the Deep Six Compressor from Walrus Audio.




I fell in love with those gold knobs. I searched them in all the shops I usually buy (Mammoth, Smallbear, ppp, uk-electronic, etc...) but couldn't find anything.

Looks like VFE also has them as an option



I'd love to buy some for my projects. Do you guys know where to find them?

I had a look at Newark and looks like they have some that are somewhat similar but in Silver:

They have some knobs in gold, too, but they don't look the same as Walrus'

Maybe it's the picture, but the gold one looks more yellow than gold

Those Daier ones look like the Tayda ones that never have black or chrome in stock

VFE definitely gets his from Alpha Products in California (according to the Kickstarter), but I think they are custom ordered to his spec.

Finally I found them! The guys from Walrus kindly answered my mail. The knobs are from Mammoth  I had them on my face all the time but I thought they were available only in black. Looks like you can choose from many colours!

ah really, mammoth‽ I just placed an order with them yesterday, and I was struggling to come up with enough products to get to the $49 free shipping. I would have happily gotten a handful of them, especially because they're discounted. Oh well, at least I know where to find them from now on.

Smallbear does have Gold aluminum knobs. Maybe not the exact same style as those mentioned above but... if you are willing to pay the $3/ea  then they are available.
