Got this in an email just now from Vimeo:

QuoteWe have removed your video titled "Roger Waters - The Wall - 6 October 2010 - MSG" previously available at vimeo.com/15737727, in response to a takedown notice submitted by Pink Floyd Music Limited pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA").

I posted the vidoe SIX YEARS AGO. Guess they are a little slow.  ;D

I guess I'll have to go buy a Roger Waters live album now. I really thought I could just keep watching your video forever and I would never have to.

These record people are big fat money grabbing cunts.

They're incredibly dense and stuck like stupid to a 1960's business model.

In this age of torrents, NNTP, Kodi, and high quality Chinese counterfeits there is no option but to bring a better product to market. Instead record people want to make it as difficult as practically possible to legitimately consume their product.

If Roger Waters knew a damn thing about your video (or the takedown), I'd be highly surprised.

With the history of record industry accounting, I'm not drowning in sympathy for them. From what I've heard, it's more common than not for bands to end up owing money to the label.

I can see the meeting at Pink Floyd Music Limited right now:

"Ok, another issue (entire room groans):  This Vimeo video of Roger Waters posted by this...Cultured Jam, I think he makes raspberry preserves or something....anyway, we need to get this thing down immediately! Since 2010, we have lost at least 3 big ones over this thing!"
"3 million???"
"No. Uh...3 dollars"
"oh...uh...ok. Fine, take it down I guess?"
"Yessssss, another score for the Mike-ster!"
"That's the dumbest nickname ever. Nobody else here calls you that."
