GUYS OKAY. This is easily my most proud pedal building moment. I built http://www.madbeanpedals.com/forum/index.php?topic=23173.msg227181#msg227181 using a board designed by irmcdermott (I'll link to this project at the end) but I strived, no, I longed for board mounted pots. Why you ask? Cause reasons. Maybe I really like board mounted pots that much, or maybe I wanted to challenge my Diptrace skills, either way I set out to redesign the board and get them printed from OSHpark. Not only does the circuit work, it sounds FANTASTIC. This OD is amazing, I won't lie about it. I already re-re-designed the board so that it isn't in this weird cross-shape. The second batch will be in rectangles. Take a look, let me know what you think. I'll make a sound-demo video at some point. Thanks all!

Also p.s. I asked irmcdermott if I could make a PCB of his project and never got a response, I don't wanna step on his toes or do anything I shouldn't but I'd love to sell these PCB's to anyone on the forum (not for a profit, just for what they cost me) because I think people would love this circuit. Thanks guys.

Nice. I'm glad I picked it up and learned Eagle. Congrats on your first one, looks good.

matmosphere

That looks great! I totally share your enthusiasm for board mounted pots. I feel like less wire = fewer possibilities for getting a loose connection after these things get stomped on.

I need to learn eagle one of these days.

What, this isn't board mounted enough for you?

Seriously though, great job on the layout. It looks like a very faithful morning glory clone the way it is laid out.

Very nice layout. Especially for your first attempt. I personally like to group In/out/9V/Gnd at the bottom for easy hookup to stomp daughter boards. These would be the next step for you. Makes for an even cleaner wiring and looks pro 8)

Sorry about the n00b question but will OSHpark do you a nice double sided board of an etch schematic e.g. if I sent them this

No, they won't.
they need gerber files of some sort. .brd from eagle or some output files of a CAM job.
the picture you posted is a one sided etching project, turning it into a two sided layout would mean that the second layer just would be empty.
shoot a PM to haberdasher. He sells etched boards of discontinued madbean projects. most likely he either has the sea urchin or can etch you one if you're not equipped to do it yourself.
