Has anyone built or does anyone know of a schematic/Doc they could point me to?
I just need a simple tester to start going through all the tubes I have accumulated over the years.

I really don't want to drop $500 on a calibrated tester when I need to only test 8 pin Octal and 12A__ type tubes.

Thanks

Bruce Rozenblit's latest book has a few circuits for diy tube testers in it.

If my photos are missing again... they're hosted by photobucket... and as of 06/2017 being held hostage... to be continued?

This is the one I'm going to build when I find time.  BTW, it has great reviews from the guys that I know who have built it.

That looks great! I dig the "desktop" approach. Thanks!

Yep.  I pulled the trigger on it this week and it is en route from the Netherlands.  Will post again when I get it up and running, unfortunately, which may be some time due to very demanding "real" work and being a single Dad...
