I just bought one of these on a total impulse buy.

It's a nitro cellulose finish model (I'll leave it up to the guitar nerds whether it's a vintage correct lacquer finish or not).

It was a total bargain and I couldn't resist  :)

Plays like a dream straight out of the box, though will be getting setup for slide (I'm slowly trying too learn).

It is finished beautifully. Far far nicer than my older Mexican strat (circa 2001).

The price (£495) also included the hard case.

I'm really pleased with it. I needed another Strat like I need a kick in the bollocks (got 3 now)... but sometimes you just gotta give in to GAS  :)

Sexy! Sweet deal...too hard to pass up. What's the radius on the fret board?

That is awesome looking. I love matching headstocks.

3? That's it? That's really great looking.
Pedal building is like the opposite of sex.  All the fun stuff happens before you get in the box.

Great score.  I love the look of painted headstocks.  Adds a nice touch of class.  It's pretty tough to beat a Daphne blue guitar so a double score really.  Have fun with it.

How loud is too loud?  What?

That looks great.

This exact model pulls me in as well, and I definitely don't need another strat either (I have 4, although not all Fender).

Cheers guys.

Loving it so far. I've set it up in open D to begin my slide playing experiment.

It's 7.25" Radius. Old school fender style. Very comfy for chords etc, not so much for shredding (which I can't do anyway  ;D)

3? Is that Strats or bollocks? ;)

Awesome!

I'm not the biggest fan of matching color headstocks on Strats / Teles, but I love everything else about it.

I don't know what are your slide preferences, but check this guy: http://www.starsingerslides.com

I got one of his slides in a shop in Denmark St. and it is my favorite so far.

Thanks for the link dude I'll check it out.

I'm happy with a blues bottle (thick wall) at the moment.

Out of all of them I tried that felt the most comfy to me.

And to clarify no I don't have 3 bollocks. Just the two and they seem to get the job done just fine  ;D
