6 of one 1/2 a dozen of he other. I can't remember the last time I had a jack crap out. I usually have all types on hand and choose according to what I've got room to work with. I do like the sturdier nuts,and swap them in on customer pedals if I need them..I do like using a fiber washer though as it makes the jack self centering.
I got blisters on my fingers!!!

Just a follow up...

Since I started paying attention to what jacks I use in what build...I prefer the switchcraft jacks over the other ones I've tried.

You can really tell a difference in material/build quality and also how it "holds" onto the plug.  Just my 2cents.

Yep, that is why I use them too.  Very solid grip on the plug.
