What else could we expect from you Cortex than a crazy noizzze pedal that sounds awesome :D Looking forward to hear new full length demo and it sure is going to be winner at contest in BG.

Cortexturizer

haha thank you guys. I stumbled upon a sound that I need for the contest and I am afraid to change it haha, but as soon as the event has passed I will record all kinds of examples with this, some of the sounds I got with this thing I didn't even think were possible in analog haha.
the gist of it is that you can set the tempo at which two different delay speeds will alternate. and then...you engage feedback. and then...
add some clarinot sauce to it. and...
yeah. amino-acid flashbacks occur.

The demo can't top the Pantera's A new level Arcade ver.... or will it? LOL

I really loved that demo

Cody

Cortexturizer

hahaha no, nothing will top that in terms of brootz :P
this one will be much more atmospheric I suppose, and sick. sickness is the main thing here hahaha, wobbly, spining, downward facing spiral of demise

This looks great. Another boss faceplate etch. How thick is that plate?

Cortexturizer

Thick enough to be able to mount the pots and not a mm more, sometimes it's tricky. The faceplates I use are laser engraved not etched, so all the credit goes to the machines :)

Looks awesome sounds awesome,
gut shot is crackers floating on spaghetti! I actually like it.

I love the aesthetics of your pedals.  It is cool that you have such a distinct vibe that upon seeing one I immediately know, that is a Cortexturizer pedal ;)

You made the folks at Wal-Mart proud man!

I love it!!!!

Thanks gents!
Blearyeyes your comment made me laugh, awesome :D
Tomorrow - the rest of the clips, I promise!
Our busiest layout bee right now - mr Brejna, is looking to do a layout of this with everything on board naturally. When he does I might just throw this all away and replace the intestines with his pcb haha

Awesome! He's been on a roll lately. Just finished populating his Tight Metal layout and it sounds great.

Guys here's the demo that I promised. I tried to show all of the sounds that are in there. So many sounds, not for the faint of heart.
I really flew off the handle at the end, apologies for that.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B--6F_4JB7SYREZtaHkwUS0wekk/view?usp=sharing - the DEMO

It has to be my most used pedal right now. It's just so awesome with loopers and for that whammy-like envelope craziness. I use the envelope a lot but I also play it very clean. Almost never use the fuzz side, just as a weird delay. But I mainly use the rhythmic noise delay filter sound, as shown in this pedalboard jam that I've made today. Here I played the reverb pedal in front of it, and occasionally I would engage the pigtronix ep2 in the envelope mode. The pedals was with Blend set all the way which is full wet. That's actually the setting of the Blend pot I used for all of the sounds  recorded in the demo above. Full wet.

Hope you'll enjoy it
