This is an Escobedo Digital Octaver fuzz (http://www.jiggawoo.eclipse.co.uk/guitarhq/Circuitsnippets/snippets.html)

Crazy, glitchy, octavey fuzz. A HOG it is most certainly not  ;D

The PCB is the strange size it is because it is part of a 'modular' range of effects I did to fit in a semi-modular effects system (utilising DIN connectors and pluggable fx modules). Still working on that project so I boxed this one up for now.

The enclosure is the strange look it is because the bloody yellow hammerite I used crinkled like a bastard when it met enamel lacquer  ;D

Looks awesome! Almost like a DBA pedal mixed with an old MXR that has seen decades of use (in the best way).

I thought enamel and lacquer were 2 different things  ???

For sure if you spray lacquer onto enamel or vice versa... its gonna crinkle.

From past experience with hammerite, it prefers enamel lacquer.

Enamel lacquer is also a little tougher than acrylic lacquer.

I prefer it in genral.

Love how you labelled the knobs on the side and the volume knob looks killer.
Too bad the paint broke, but it still looks good to me

Man, I really dig the style on all your pedals

I think I prefer the finish this way :) It looks like it has been beaten up many times (relic'd pedal at its best)

Thanks for the comments guys.

It's a crazy circuit.

Apparently the blackarts fnord is pretty much a clone of this escobedo circuit.

I'll upload the pcb to osh park if anyone is interested.
