Etching twice helps, but I've actually had black enclosures I etched 3-4 times and they still didn't get clean enough so I took a toothbrush and flux remover to them.  That was awesome.

Nice build!

Okay, I have to ask. What 1/4" jacks are those? I keep seeing them on this forum.

Thanks man!

They are a rare breed of 1/4" made by Kobiconn. There was a group buy last year where some of us all went in.  Mouser only sells them in quantities of 1000.  They are really high quality, tighten down nicely and stay put. Perhaps another GB soon would be in order.

I'll hopefully be in on that if it happens again. Stomptown gave me a few to try out and I'm using them in a build that would be impossible with switchcrafts or cliffs. I just wish I could locate an internal tooth lock washer that fits. It's a metric size, maybe 10mm? It's right between 3/8" & 5/16".

Shameless plug:

Just finished the build document and PCBs are now available on rullywow.com if you are interested.

The datasheet  (poor) looks like the thread dimension is 9.2mm so 3/8" or 10mm(10.5mm) would do it. Have you calipers to measure the threads?

McMaster Carr has a great selection of any washer you could imagine.

Yeah, I could measure it. A 3/8 washer is way too sloppy, 5/16 won't fit. I'll measure one when I get home. Out of town right now.
