UPDATE:

I swapped the output lead for a  shielded cable and that solved the issue. No more radio station pickup and the oscillation is clearer. If you build one and have such issues try shielding the output lead.

I'll post semiverified single side layout when I come home. Problem that I have with it is low volume.. I didn't have any sockets for ICs, so it is possible I burned one.
