I haven't done too much shipping before and I need to ship a few things out. One thing is International and the other is in the US. Brian ships for an incredible low price. I'd like something like that. What do you guys use/recommend?

Depending on what it is, US Mail is usually by far the cheapest, which is what Brian uses.

As far as International, it all depends on what country you are talking about. If it's non-Europe or Japan then it can be a hassle because of customs, etc.

I need to ship something about 2" by 2", weights less than a pound, probably like a half pound and it would be going to Canada.

US mail is your best bet in my opinion.  I've used it for international shipping with no problems.

Mailing to Canada is only slightly more expensive than the US.

US Mail seems to be the best bet. I noticed I can register an account with them. I wonder if they give discounts on shipping when you make an account.. :)
