It is mostly usefull from half to the fast speeds. Below half it has only very slow speeds which no one uses. But I think that in live situations it works great, with smaller adjustment you get nice change of rate. Btw I've used 2k resistors instead 4k7s, so overall effect is faster. I actually never build univibe with C100k pot

Hey Cortex, univibe is my favorite pedal of all. I've made quite a few and did experiment a lot. BTW you know the secret of that fat sound I hope you'll get there and thanks for the title

Do you match LDRs?
Do you always point the straight at lamp and do you use a light shield ultimately?

It definitely became my favorite modulation effect as well, although I am a phaser guy primarily.

You are welcome. I use LDRs from ebay, they are marked GL5549. I think that they are not all same out there, but you can try from different suppliers. I do use very primitive way of matching them. I connect them to DMM and measure resistance in light and dark, beside that important is time of changing resistance between dark and light, shorter-better. My first build was with random picked LDRs and it did sound great. For these LDRs I always face them to lamp and I don't use shield for them.
