Awesome stuff, great looks and super pcb design for the univibe with the incorporated relay switching!
Absolutely pro stuff, amazing!

Thanks Stephan, appreciate it. :)

Also a fan of your univibe layout. The pot positions are working great!

How do you find the speed range with the B 100 K pot (compared to a C taper)?

It is mostly usefull from half to the fast speeds. Below half it has only very slow speeds which no one uses. But I think that in live situations it works great, with smaller adjustment you get nice change of rate. Btw I've used 2k resistors instead 4k7s, so overall effect is faster. I actually never build univibe with C100k pot :D

Amazing stuff Brejna as always. Tight as a snake's ass. Both of them are outstanding but having heard your univibes before I am very excited by this new one that's done on your own pcb layout. Every video of yours that I've seen showcases a very FAT univibe sound that personally I am still yet to come close to. In my book, you're a master univibe builder. Hat's off sir.

Hey Cortex, univibe is my favorite pedal of all. I've made quite a few and did experiment a lot. BTW you know the secret of that fat sound I hope you'll get there :) and thanks for the title :D

Thanks for your replies on the details, another question I have is which LDRs did you use and which one's work best for, seeing that you've built a bunch of vibes?
Do you match LDRs?
Do you always point the straight at lamp and do you use a light shield ultimately?
Sorry for all those details, it's just that I dig univibes as well... ;)

It definitely became my favorite modulation effect as well, although I am a phaser guy primarily.

You are welcome. :) I use LDRs from ebay, they are marked GL5549. I think that they are not all same out there, but you can try from different suppliers. I do use very primitive way of matching them. I connect them to DMM and measure resistance in light and dark, beside that important is time of changing resistance between dark and light, shorter-better. My first build was with random picked LDRs and it did sound great. For these LDRs I always face them to lamp and I don't use shield for them.
