Having trouble with a pork barrel build.

So I just finished my pork barrel and I have a strange issue.

First off, I did the build with a MN3101 and the MN3007.
Second, I did the LED LFO mod.

So my issue is when the effect is on, the LED only lights up when I have the rate knob all the way to the left, and then it fades away as I turn it right. It completely goes off around the 2:00 o clock mark.

The second issue is that the effect is extremely weak. There's a small volume boost when I engage the effect, but that's about it.

Is the switch shorting on the inside of the enclosure? It looks awfully close.

I think we can really narrow it down if you could post some voltage readings from your IC's and Transistors. Both the sound and led problem can be contributed to not enough voltage. Also post your voltage readings from your voltage source (battery? DC jack?).

This is repeated like a mantra for pedal builders...

Rock it before you box it!

Really need to see the underside of the circuitboard for solder bridges etc. sometimes just going back over your work and re flowing the solder joints will fix a cold solder joint.  I found you'll get more help if you put a link to the build docs in your post..

I just realized I'm running a 9v PSU with this, when it should be 12! Doh!!!! I will try it with a twelve and report back.

No it should be 9V, not that 12V will hurt anything, the issue is in the LFO (TL062) it's not running for some reason.

This post lead me to check out the IC2.

I didn't solder one row of the IC socket! lol! Rookie ass shit!

I will resolder and report back!
