adding an extra 6v6 poder tube for 15w???

Hiii i have a tweed 5f1 project only have regular components and transformer which are triad-utrad ones... Some says this are cool but they are 15 watts power both.. So i was wondering why not an extra 6v6 power tuve but the question its what do i need to change to modify the power amp for both tubes

The topology / construction between a single ended 5F1 and a push-pull amp are somewhat different.
The OT needs to be a push-pull one (and not a single ended type) and you needs some type of phase inverter to make the push-pull element of construction work (single ended amps like 5F1 don't need a phase inverter as there's only one powertube involved).
Best is to look at the construction differences between 5F1 schematic and 5E3 to get a bit of an understanding of that.
That's best I can explain it in a nutshell, there's some great youtube videos of 'Uncle Doug' out there who explains beautifully the difference between single ended, push pull design and different phase inverters.

Ohhh i see.... But cuould be any way to make a power amp single ended with 15w for the amp... If not may be using the transformer to get just 5w i want to make my first amp attempt easy as the tweeds...

Use an appropriate transformer, bias the cathode accordingly, and use a 6L6, and you will have a champ running on about 15W. You can't get 15W out of a single 6V6 no matter what you do.

You can also do parallel 6V6s, but the amp will not be 15W just because you're running two 6V6s, and you're probably not fitting that in a champ enclosure without adding noise.

Doing a 15W push pull is way more involved than just doing the 6L6.

Why are you so set on getting 15W? It's it's volume you're after, 15W is only a smidgeon louder than 5W. You'd need 50W just to get a 10dB increase. You could use a more efficient speaker (e.g. ceramic and 25W), or a 12" if you were planning on using an 8" or 10", and you'll have more output than you would get from a little boost from wattage. Other things you can do: A higher B+ (5AR4 rectifier) and a smaller dropper to the preamp tubes will get you more voltage and more headroom. To get good power filtering without as much resistance, you need to use a choke, which adds cost, weight, and takes up room in the chassis, but I had good results with it in my "Sakura" champ. If you go with the 6L6, you'll have a little more bandwidth and output before distorting.

well im not looking for volume, just wanted to see a champ on 15w, just to say a have a champ running 15w, but volume doesnt matter, its for pratice anyway, im going to get the 6V6 as well as the 6L6, jut to try them out, my idea was to make it as head and not the entire ampi bet it could run one 2x12 cabinet without any problem, just i think i will have to read better, before put my hands on it, since i have never build an amp

I'm just making sure you understand that this isn't simply a matter of getting two different tubes to try you. You need a transformer that can handle the 6L6, which the traditional transformer for a Champ CANNOT do. The two tubes also require different bias resistors, and you need to make sure that the cathode resistors have the right value for each tube and they will need to be 10W for safety.

I know un fact its that why id like to get 15w PT and OT are for a 15w amp... So it can handle the tubes easy, i aƱos about the bias resistor
