green bean ground lug by LED

Theres 2 ground lugs not he green bean, one by the +9v, the other by the LED. Do I need to use both as wires to ground or -ve as they don't seem to be connected to anything?

You will only be required to connect one of the ground pads to ground but you can also use the other one to ground something else like the 3pdt switch or the input jack.  If I mount the 9VDC jack at the top of the enclosure I will connect the ground lug to the 9V pad at the top of the board.  I would then connect the ground on the bottom of the board to the 3pdt ground lug(s).
