Thanks to fastocker- I got the guts to delve into powdercoating.  As you can see, there's bit of orange peel, but this would be perfect for a Orange Squeezer!

Sounds good, and this stuff is dang near indescructable!

Hey nice work... will you do more?

stecykmi

wow diy powdercoating? looks good!

jimmybjj

well it looks like your the first of us to attempt powder coating since the tutorial, or more accurately because of the tutorial. Can you tell us about your experience, was it easier or harder than you thought?

heck yes I'll do more!
Posted an ad on facebook (amongst my friends) for a small oven and air compressor.  By the end of the day they were on my doorstep (really nice friends.) Spent the 75 bucks at harbor freight and 20 minutes later had this!  I need a slightly smaller compressor, but it's fairly simple.  All props to the tutorial and fastock thought, that thread was stinking inspirational!

Cool... it looks really good.  I like the texture of the powder coat, and its much stronger finish than paint I hear

Cool.  I like the "hammered finish"
